

Apply a few drops of Reverb Hydraulic Fluid to the XLoc Sprint bleed port, and then thread the brass fitting of the other syringe plunger into the bleed port. Use a T10 TORX wrench to remove the bleed screw from the XLoc. (DTC) List and diagnose the appropriate DTC. Pressurize the system by pushing down on the syringe handle.

– If a DTC is detected, refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code Perform the following steps before resuming the bleed procedure: Select Automated Bleed from the Special Functions menu.ĩ.Follow the scan tool directions until the desired brake pedal height is achieved.ġ0.If the bleed procedure is aborted, a malfunction exists.

Repair or replace as needed.Ħ.Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.ħ.With the scan tool, establish communications with the EBCM. Refer to Brake Fluid Loss or Symptoms – Hydraulic Brakes. Failure to properly relieve pressure may result in spilled brake fluid causing damage to components and painted surfaces.ġ.Raise the vehicle on a suitable support.Ģ.Remove all four tire and wheel assemblies.ģ.Inspect the brake system for leaks and visual damage. After exiting the bleed procedure, relieve bleed pressure and disconnect bleed equipment per manufacturers instructions. No further Scan Tool prompts pertaining to the Auto Bleed procedure will be given.
